RWI is a charitable nonprofit organization of nonprofessional and professional young mothers aged 12-30 years in rural communities advocating for gender equality through socioeconomic and psychological empowerment of mothers for improved livelihoods. RWI was born out of the need to address alarming levels of young mothers in the community, low levels of girl child education and is working with Children, youth club in schools and in the society empowering them to fight against HIV/AIDS, illiteracy, alleviate poverty through the use of their talents to realize their potential and discover their worth through participatory and advocacy activities.
Through the use of Music, Dance and Drama, Talk shows, Educative shows, Training workshops, Conferences, Debates, Voluntary Counseling and Testing, and other community empowerment activities, we have enabled children and youth vulnerable groups participate in their socioeconomic development.
